Day 2 of 2 is due to start on time at 11am. Leeds Bradford won the toss and have put Oxford into bat
Wednesdays BUCS Premier A clash between Oxford MCCU and Leeds Bradford MCCU was rained off. Unfortunately Day 1 of the MCCU Championship 2 day fixture today has also had to be cancelled. Hopefully we will have some play tomorrow from 11am!
Oxford MCCU take a lot of confidence from this drawn game against Worcestershire. 435 all out scored at 3.4 runs per over represented an excellent batting effort. Agarwal 76, and Jones 79 set the tone with some quality batting for the 2nd wicket. They picked off the bad ball and rotated the strike very well. The Warwickshire pair of Coleman (110) and captain Williams (92) ensured good momentum throughout the innings again picking off anything loose - something that the pros do especially well against us.
